Warranty Policy

1. What is covered

Celani warrants the Celani Odor Gun™ device against defects in materials and workmanship, under normal household use, for 90 days from the date of delivery.

Covered components:

  • The atomizer unit and nozzle assembly
  • The trigger and internal pump mechanism
  • The rechargeable battery and USB charging port
  • The nano blue light module
  • The cartridge housing and locking mechanism

If a covered defect appears within 90 days of delivery, Celani will, at its option, repair the device, replace it with a new or equivalent unit, or refund the original purchase price of the device.

2. What is not covered

  • Consumables. Bio-enzyme refill bottles and cartridges are consumable goods and carry no warranty beyond delivery of the correct, unopened, undamaged product.
  • Free gift items. Extra refill cartridges, activated charcoal bags, and the pet hair brush are included at no charge and are not covered.
  • Normal wear, cosmetic marks, scratches, and discoloration that do not affect function
  • Damage from drops, impact, crushing, or submersion in water
  • Damage from filling the device with any liquid other than Celani bio-enzyme solution, including water, essential oils, alcohol, bleach, vinegar, or third party cleaners
  • Clogging caused by residue from non-Celani liquids
  • Damage from charging with a non-compliant adapter, an unapproved cable, or a power source outside the rated input
  • Battery capacity loss over time, which is normal for all rechargeable lithium batteries
  • Disassembly, modification, or repair by anyone other than Celani or an authorized agent
  • Commercial, rental, or institutional use, including cleaning services, kennels, groomers, hotels, and Airbnb turnover operations
  • Units purchased from any seller other than celani.us or a Celani authorized retailer, including secondhand and marketplace resale units
  • Loss, theft, or damage in transit after a return is authorized but before it reaches us
  • Results. This warranty covers the device functioning as designed. It does not guarantee any particular odor outcome. Satisfaction with results is addressed by the 30-day return policy.

3. Who is covered

The original purchaser only, at the original shipping address, with proof of purchase. This warranty is not transferable and does not apply to gifted, resold, or secondhand units.

4. How to make a claim

  1. Email support@celani.us with the subject line "Warranty Claim" within 90 days of delivery.
  2. Include your order number, the delivery date, a description of the fault, and a short video or photos showing the issue (for example, the trigger pulled with no mist, or the charge light failing to come on).
  3. Support will first send troubleshooting steps. Most reported faults are clogged nozzles or a depleted charge and resolve without a return.
  4. If troubleshooting does not resolve it, Celani issues a Return Authorization (RA) number. Do not ship anything back without an RA number, as unauthorized returns cannot be processed.
  5. Once the unit is received and the defect confirmed, a replacement ships within 5 business days, or a refund is issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Return shipping. The customer is responsible for return shipping on warranty claims, except where the item arrived damaged, defective on arrival, or was the wrong item shipped. In those cases Celani provides a prepaid label. Use a trackable service. Celani is not responsible for returns lost in transit.

5. Damaged or defective on arrival

If the device arrives damaged or non-functional, email support within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and the outer packaging. This window exists so a carrier claim can still be filed. Approved claims ship a replacement at no cost, with a prepaid return label or no return required at Celani's discretion.

6. Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for the device and replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, which are limited in duration to the 90-day warranty period where such limitation is permitted.

Celani is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including damage to fabric, upholstery, carpet, flooring, paint, or property, loss of use, or cleaning costs. Total liability under this warranty will not exceed the original purchase price of the device.

Some states and countries do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.

7. Relationship to the return policy

Two separate protections, both starting from the delivery date:

  • 30-day returns cover dissatisfaction. If the product is not for you, send it back for a refund under the return policy.
  • 90-day warranty covers device defects. If the gun stops working, this is the path, whether it is day 5 or day 85.

Either path requires a Return Authorization number and a returned unit.
