My Grandma Had An Asthma Attack From Cat Pee.

My grandma hadn’t been over to my house in a long time.

So when she finally came to visit, I was excited. I cleaned the whole house before she got there. Vacuumed, wiped everything down, cleaned the litter box, sprayed the carpet.

I thought the place smelled fine.

Honestly, I thought it smelled clean.

But not long after she got there, something felt off.

She kept rubbing her nose and clearing her throat. Then she started having trouble breathing.

At first I had no idea what was happening.

Then it got bad enough that we ended up taking her to the hospital.

When I finally got to talk to her, I asked her what was wrong.

And she said something that honestly made my stomach drop.

“Your house smelled really strong when I walked in.”
